How Room Design Affects Gambling Addiction

Gambling rooms with tightly clumped machines that discourage social interaction lead to heavier, problematic gambling addiction. These rooms or gambling “annexes”, characterised by dimmed lighting and absence of social tables, promote uninterrupted and solitary play which further aggravate a person’s addictive tendencies.
