Study revealed New Zealand’s widespread worker exploitation

A new study revealed that people in New Zealand are working 80-90 hour weeks for $500, being paid for half the hours they work and paying their own salary to “buy” permanent residency. Exploitation can be seen in different industries including construction, dairy, horticulture, hospitability, international students, and sex work.
